Susanne Purviance
Susanne Purviance (born September 29, 1954 in Linz , Upper Austria ) is an Austrian freelance artist .
Life
Susanne Purviance studied at the University for Artistic and Industrial Design in Linz, made study trips to Italy , Spain , France and Greece . She lives and works as a freelance artist in Linz and takes part in national and international exhibitions. In 2015 she was appointed Vice President of the Association of Artists in Upper Austria .

Susanne Purviance has devoted herself intensively to painting since graduating. She mainly paints oil paintings . Thematic focus is on landscapes , vegetation, images of people and industrial landscapes. Works by Susanne Purviance can be found in the art collection of Upper Austria, the Leopold Museum Vienna and in private collections. In 2019 the artist portrayed former mayor Franz Dobusch for the mayor's gallery of the city of Linz.
