Nobody knows about it (Original title: Pilules Bleues ) is a French drama directed by Jean-Philippe Amar from 2014 . It describes the relationship between a talented draftsman and his childhood sweetheart who carries the HIV virus . It is a literary film adaptation of the graphic novel Pilules Bleues ( German blue pills ) by Frederik Peeters .

Jean-Baptiste, known as JB for short by his friends, and his best buddy Guy are two talented, but rather unsuccessful, cartoonists who dream of a life as comic book authors , but who depend on a civil job to make a living. Her comics are only selling slowly and so Guy agrees when they are invited to a festival organized by the publisher Alexia. At their New Year's Eve party , a collective should be founded with which they want to achieve a breakthrough together. JB is reluctant to go with them, but suddenly meets Laura, an acquaintance he has not seen for many years. She is sitting on a couch away from the party and the two start talking. JB falls in love with Laura and shortly afterwards the two start a relationship. A few days later, Laura confronts him with the fact that she and her son Oscar are HIV positive. Laura has separated from her partner and is in divorce, so that the six-year-old has to grow up without his father. She is also constantly worried about him - for example, Oscar is not allowed to romp around with other children or go to a children's birthday party. They are too concerned that he might infect another child. JB is initially shocked by the confession, but wants to hold on to the relationship. When a condom breaks during intercourse , he and Laura go to her doctor, Monsieur Fremont. He clarifies JB about Laura's infection and instructs him on the precautions to take. JB processes his experiences with Laura in his comics, which gives him increasing success and attracts Alexia's interest. His friendship with Guy, whom he tells about Laura's infection, suffers. The two see each other less and less. His parents are initially shocked when they hear of Laura's and especially Oscar's fate. They are desperate because they can not help the little boy and JB torments himself with self-reproach. Still, Laura wants JB to have a child. She begins therapy - in which she has to take blue tablets, among other things - and becomes pregnant . The uncertainty as to whether the unborn baby will get the virus puts additional strain on the relationship, but shortly after the birth they learn that the little daughter is healthy. Oscar, on the other hand, realizes that he is not only JB's stepson, but also carries the HIV virus. JB also processes these experiences in a comic, with which he finally makes the breakthrough.
Ten years later, Oscar has grown into a teenager. He has a girlfriend, but she cannot understand why he insists on a condom. She believes that he thinks she is an easy girl and leaves the apartment furious. JB, who has meanwhile returned to the apartment with Laura and their daughter, approaches Oscar and wants to help him. He encourages him to tell his girlfriend about his infection. Oscar then writes a text message to her. In the last scene you can hear that he received an answer. He looks out the window with a smile.
Criticism and award
TV Spielfilm magazine only gives an average judgment on the film. She criticizes the fact that an explosive topic is conveyed "somewhat like a drawing board" and initially in a brittle manner. Only at the end of the film do you get “warm with the characters”. The TV movie is that the film was "despite the serious subject optimistic".
