Susanne Sigl (formerly Susanne Kemmler , also known as Susanne Müller , Susanne Müller-Pi or Sumatic ; * around 1971) is a German singer, songwriter, photographer and commercial film producer .

Sigl is best known as a singer and composer in the 1980s and 1990s, starting with the foothills of the Neue Deutsche Welle .

As Susanne Müller, Susanne Müller-Pi or Susanne Kemmler, she has written or co-authored numerous song texts by Hubert Kah , Münchener Freiheit , Sandra , Maggie Reilly , Peter Schilling , Corinna May , Nicole , Nicki or Schürzenjäger . Several of these songs hit the German and international charts. In 1988 she can be heard as a background singer on Schilling's song The Different Story (World of Lust and Crime) .

In 1994 she recorded the album Close to Heaven (released in 1995) with Andreas Slavik as Andi Slavik & Susanne Kemmler and released several singles. The song Indian Spirit reached number 25 in the German charts. In 2000 she released What becomes of the children of our time? a solo maxi single also written with Andi Slavik, followed in 2002 by Maxi Frei sein . 2006 appeared as Sumatic the album dreiklangsdimektiven stufe 1 and the maxi-single Das Modell .

In addition, she worked as a photographer and commercial film producer as well as a composer for film music, the latter for example in divorce with obstacles (2001) together with Andi Slavik.

Private life

Sigl was married to Hubert Kah, civilly Hubert Kemmler, for seven years. In 2008 she married the Austrian actor Hans Sigl and has been called Susanne Sigl since then. She lives with him in Bavaria . One of her children is Jonas Kemmler , who also works as an actor.
