Hans-Dieter Sigl (born July 7, 1969 in Rottenmann , Styria ) is an Austrian actor .

life and career

Hans Sigl completed his training as an actor, singer and dancer at the Tiroler Landestheater in Innsbruck , where he was a member of the ensemble from 1993 to 1999 . He then moved to the Bremen Shakespeare Company .

He was best known for the TV crime series SOKO Kitzbühel , in which he was seen as Mayor Andreas Blitz from 2001 to 2006 . In addition to film and theater work, Sigl is also active as a cabaret artist with his own solo program and the stage show Hintze and Sigl .

Since 2008 he has played the title role of Martin Gruber in the series Der Bergdoktor .

He has a son with the actress Katja Keller . Sigl has been married to the musician and photographer Susanne Sigl (formerly Kemmler) since June 2008 and lives with her in Bavaria .

He read literary classics for an audio book series in the Reclam publishing house .

On June 10, 2019, he hosted the ZDF television garden as a guest host alongside Andrea Kiewel .
