The Sustut River is an orographic left tributary of the Skeena River in the Canadian province of British Columbia .
The Sustut River has its origin in Sustut Lake in the Omineca Mountains west of Williston Lake . The Sustut River initially flows briefly in a north-westerly direction, but then turns south. In the lower reaches, the river flows west and flows into the Skeena River. Larger tributaries are the Astika River and Bear River . The Sustut River has a length of about 100 km.
The Sustut Provincial Park and Protected Area is located on the east bank of the Sustut River above the confluence of the Bear River.
