Suzie and the Seniors is a band founded in Hamburg in 2005 by members of the German rock 'n' roll band Franny and the Fireballs . You're playing 1960s beat .

history

As early as 1989, the members of Franny & The Fireballs created a second musical mainstay. With German songs from the 1950s to 1970s, the formation of Susi's Schlagersextett paved the way for Guildo Horn and Dieter Thomas Kuhn . Olli Dittrich was part of the group for five years . TV appearances and countless concerts led across the republic. When the hit wave was over, the band changed the program and with it the musical color without further ado to English-language titles from the 1960s, and Susi became Suzie . Since 1997 Patricia Butt (née Hartmann) has been the band's front woman as "Suzie".

The repertoire includes the great hits of the 1960s. The first appearance with the new musical direction took place on January 21, 2005 in Hamburg. The CD Twist & Shout, recorded live, was released in the same year . Many appearances followed, and in 2007 the “Beatniks von der Binnenalster” recorded the studio CD Bring Back The Beat , which was released in early 2008. Because of its great success, Bring Back The Beat Part 2 was released later in 2008 with other 1960s songs.
