The GSX-R1100 is a motorcycle from the Japanese manufacturer Suzuki with a displacement of 1100 cc. It is the big sister of the GSX-R 750 built from 1985 .

The GSX-R 1100 was built from 1986 to 1997. Air- and oil-cooled engines were installed until 1992, after which they switched to water cooling.

This model earned its reputation through the aluminum frame, which was first used in the series production of the Suzuki RG 250 Gamma, which was presented in 1983, as well as the distinctive design and the seating posture, which is designed for absolute sportiness.
