The GSF 1250 Bandit is a motorcycle from the Japanese manufacturer Suzuki that will be delivered from model year 2007.

The GSF 1250 replaces the GSF 1200 Bandit in the Suzuki range and is delivered from the factory with an anti-lock braking system . The mixture is prepared by an injection system . With a G-Kat , the vehicle is classified as low-emission according to Euro 3 . A version with a half-shell as cladding (GSF 1250 SA) was offered from the start, while the unclad version is no longer in the range from the 2012 model year.

For the 2015 model year, the 1250 SA was visually revised, in particular the design of the fairing. In addition, the accessories offered by Suzuki have been significantly expanded. In addition, with the GSX 1250 FA, a fully enclosed version is also available. The technical data largely correspond to those of the basic model. Both variants are ideally suited for sporty long-distance tours due to the high load capacity (over 230 kg), the engine characteristics and the relaxed seating position.

Unofficial naming

As with the previous models ( Suzuki GSF 1200 and Suzuki GSF 600 ), this time there was a vote on the Internet to find a catchy and concise name for the new model. The choice fell on "Evo". This name can be understood, for example, with the evolution of the engine from oil / air cooling to water cooling.
