Svante Domizlaff

Svante Domizlaff (* 1950 in Hamburg ) is a German PR consultant and publicist.

Life

Svante Domizlaff is the eldest of four children of the graphic artist and writer Hans Domizlaff (1892–1971) and his second wife Dora, b. Kreuzberger. Domizlaff grew up in Hamburg on the Elbchaussee and learned about sailing through his father .

Domizlaff works as a journalist for the Hamburger Abendblatt , the Hamburger Morgenpost , Hörzu and Yacht , as a press spokesman for the DAL / JTE Group and Offen Group and has published and translated numerous books and illustrated books about sailing. He himself took part in numerous sailing regattas, including the legendary Fastnet Race 1979 on the Hamburg yacht Tina and the Atlantic Regatta Newport-Hamburg 2003 of the DaimlerChrysler North Atlantic Challenge on the yacht HAZE.

Since 1993 he has worked as a press / PR consultant in the shipping industry and as an author of non-fiction books on the topics of maritime, society, regional history and company biographies.

He lives in Hamburg and Egestorf .
