Svante Lennart Samuelsson (born September 4, 1972 in Kungälv ) is a former Swedish national football player .

career

Samuelsson began playing football at Vallens IF in 1979 . In 1989 he moved to the second division Kalmar FF . Until 1993 he ran for the club. He then went to league rivals Örgryte IS , with whom he immediately became second division champion and rose to the Allsvenskan . Until 1998 he played in 75 first division games for the traditional club before he moved to Brann Bergen in Norway . In 2002 he returned to Sweden and joined AIK Solna . After he was a regular player in his first season, he only made nine appearances there in his second year. Therefore, he left the club and returned to Kalmar FF. There he ended his active career in 2005.

Samuelsson made his debut on February 12, 2001 as part of the King's Cup in the Swedish national team , when the national selection separated 2-2 in a draw from the Chinese selection . In the 0-0 draw against Qatar two days later, he played his second and last international match.
