Carl Friedrich Döhnel

Carl Friedrich Döhnel (born June 12, 1772 in Schneeberg , † July 28, 1853 in Wiesenburg ) is one of the founders of Ore Mountain dialect literature alongside Christian Gottlob Wild . After studying law in 1796, the son of a community leader, merchant and merchant, settled in Wiesenburg near Zwickau and worked there as a lawyer and notary. One of his clients was, for example, the one on November 27, 1823 in Schwarzenberg / Erzgeb. beheaded Carl Ludwig Otto. He wrote songs and poems in High German and in the Ore Mountains dialect.
