Sven Janssen is a Franco-Belgian comic drawn by Edouard Aidans in a realistic style .

The adventure series first appeared in the Belgian and French editions of Tintin in 1963, as well as in the Dutch version Kuifje . When Yves Duval took over from Jacques Acar as a copywriter in 1964 , the pipe-smoking writer turned into a documentary filmmaker with a red VW bus who travels all continents with his wife and son. Since then, short and serial stories have alternated. Pocket- sized short stories and an illustrated short novel were later published in Tintin Sélection and Kuifje Pocket . Lombard began to issue albums in 1966 as part of the Une histoire du journal Tintin , Jeune Europe and Vedette series . The new edition as an independent series from 1981 to 1983 also came from Lombard. 1980 Bédéscope summarized the short stories in four albums.

It was first published in Germany in 1968 under the French original title in MV Comix by Ehapa . The series was taken over by Koralle in 1973 and continued with the name that is still used today in Zack , Zack Parade and Zack Comic Box . The first independent album was released in 1999 by Salleck in the series Franco-Belgian comic classics .
