Sven Lundgren

Sven Emil Lundgren (born September 29, 1896 in Bromma ; † June 18, 1960 ibid.) Was a Swedish medium and long-distance runner .

Life

At the Olympic Games in Antwerp in 1920 he was fifth over 1500 m and reached the semifinals over 800 m . In the team race over 3000 m he came in 13th place (taking into account the deleted results, 10th place) and won bronze with the Swedish team.

In 1924 he retired at the Olympic Games in Paris over 800 m in the semi-finals and in the 3,000-meter team race in the preliminary run.

He was national champion four times over 800 m (1919-1921, 1923) and over 1500 m (1919-1921, 1924).
