Sven Palme

Sven Theodor Palme (born December 4, 1854 in Kalmar domkyrkoförsamling , Kalmar municipality , † August 9, 1934 in Engelbrekts församling , Stockholm municipality ) was a Swedish manager and politician.

Palme worked for many years as general director of the Thule life insurance company .

Via the constituency of Stockholm he entered the Second Chamber of the Swedish Reichstag , of which he was a member from 1894 to 1896 and from 1905 to 1911.

Palme was also an honorary citizen of the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . He also headed the German-Swedish associations.

His brother Johan Henrik Palme was a Swedish bank director, his son was Gunnar Palme , his grandson was Olof Palme .
