Sven Seeliger (born September 18, 1972 in Rethem ), nicknamed "Eiliger Seeliger" by the trade press, is an internationally known German motor sportsman and rallycross driver. In 2000 and 2001 he secured the FIA European championship title in the division of Group N vehicles up to 1400 cc with a Citroën AX GTi . Seeliger has been taking part in the Rallycross Challenge Europe with a Ford Fiesta Mk6 since 2013 , where he took 1st place in the Super1600 category in 2014 .

The trained gas and water fitter is the son of ex-rallycross driver Dieter Seeliger, who was known in Germany in the 1970s. Sven Seeliger is married and has two daughters. He gained his first motorsport experience in kart racing between 1985 and 1990 , but with a height of 1.95 meters there was ultimately no career opportunity here.

  • 2001: European Rallycross Champion (Division 2A)
  • 2002: 5th of the European Rallycross Championship (Division 2A)
  • 2003-2006: Construction of a Ford Fiesta ST 1600 (Division 1A)
  • 2007: First successes in the Ford Fiesta ST 1600 (Division 1A)
