Steinhof (colloquially: Schdāhūf ) is a district of the Neuendettelsau community in the Ansbach district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The wasteland lies on the left in the direction of flow in the valley on the Aurach . A communal road leads to Haag (0.7 km southwest) or the AN 17 district road near Weißenbronn (2.2 km north), a dirt road only for residents leads to the Mausenmühle (0.7 km west) or the Steinmühle (0, 5 km east).

history

Steinhof was first mentioned in a document in 1340. This makes it the oldest single farm settlement in the Neuendettelsau community. The place name was chosen because of the prevailing soil conditions: Steinhof stands on rocky ground.

In a deed of 1340 gave Götz von Vestenberg the monastery Heilsbronn the farm and the annual yield of 6 Zimra grain for 160 pounds of good Heller . The Steinhof had 168 acres of fields and 17 meadows a day .

In the 16-point report of the Oberamt Windsbach from 1608, 1 team is recorded for Steinhof, which was subordinate to the Heilsbronn monastery administrator. The high court exercised the Brandenburg-Ansbach caste and city bailiff's office in Windsbach . During the Thirty Years' War the farm became deserted. In the second year after the war there was a buyer named Craft, who received the entire tithe free goods for 120 guilders.

In 1786, a quarter was divided off from the original courtyard, which was assigned to the stone mill built in 1706 . At the end of the 18th century, Steinhof belonged to the real municipality of Haag. It consisted of two three-eighth farms, both of which had the Heilsbronn monastery administration as landlords . Under the Prussian administration (1792–1806) of the Principality of Ansbach, Steinhof received the number 14 and 15/16 of the village of Haag when the house numbers were assigned. From 1797 to 1808 the place was under the Justice and Chamber Office Windsbach . At that time there was a subject family.

As part of the municipal edict, Steinhof was assigned to the Aich tax district formed in 1808 . It also belonged to the rural community of Aich, founded in 1810 . With the second parish edict (1818) Steinhof was re-pared into the newly formed rural parish of Haag . In the course of the regional reform this was incorporated into Neuendettelsau on January 1, 1972.

Remarks

  • The distance information corresponds to the beeline between the respective geographic objects. They do not give the route .
  • A detailed list of the responsible judicial and administrative authorities can be found in the article of the (former) municipality responsible for the district.
  • The guidelines of the statistical surveys were changed several times during the period shown, which is why the information on population development - number of inhabitants and number of houses - does not count the same depending on the point in time. For more information, see the official regional directories for Bavaria .
