Sveriges holme, also known as Sverigeholmen , is a small island in the Stockholm archipelago . It is located in the vicinity of Danmarks holme at the northern inlet to Skurusundet near Halvkakssundet , between Nacka and Lidingö . The name of the island comes from the 12th century.
The island has been under nature protection since the lawyer Lettström donated it to the Swedish state in 1937. A number of large stones on top of the island have been suggested prehistoric sites for a while, but this view was later revoked.
