Swazi Express Airways was an airline based in Swaziland. From its founding in 1995, it was initially called Steffen Air for one year . Flight operations ceased on April 4, 2008. The airline was on the list of operating bans for the airspace of the European Union .

Fleet and destinations

Swazi Express Airways started operations in 1995 with a Cessna 210 from Matsapha Airport to Maputo and Vilanculos in Mozambique . Three years later, the machine, which only had five passenger seats, was replaced by an 11-seater Cessna 208 caravan . From then on there was also a flight to Durban in South Africa . In 2002 the caravan was replaced by a Metro III with 19 seats.

In February 2008 the fleet consisted of a Metro III and an ATR 42-300 .
