Swedish Open 1971

The 1971 Swedish Open in Badminton took place in Gothenburg on January 9th and 10th, 1971 . It was the 16th edition of the title fights. It was one of the few starts by GDR badminton players in non-socialist countries. Erfried Michalowsky , Edgar Michalowski , Monika Thiere and Angela Cassens represented the GDR.
