Swedish Open 1972
The Swedish Open 1972 in badminton were held from 7 to 9 January 1972 in Borås instead. It was the 17th edition of the title fights. It was one of the few starts by GDR badminton players in non-socialist countries. Erfried Michalowsky , Edgar Michalowski , Roland Riese , Monika Thiere , Angela Cassens and Christine Zierath represented the GDR.
