Sybil Smolowa , also Sybill Smolowa and Sibyl Smolova (born September 17, 1900 in Prague , Austria-Hungary - after 1933) was an Austro-Czech actress and dancer during the silent film era in Swedish and German film.
Life
Smolowa first came to film in Warsaw. Friedrich Zelnik brought her to Germany. In 1917 Klabund dedicated his story "The Disease" to her, the main character of which, the fictional film actress "Sybil Lindquist", is probably a homage. Smolowa ended her career in 1933, but nothing is known about her future life.
