The Sydney Lake is a lake in Kenora District in the western Canadian province of Ontario .

It is located in the area of ​​the Canadian Shield southeast of the Woodland Caribou Provincial Park . The 58.3 km² lake is at an altitude of 350  m . Sydney Lake is drained south from the Sturgeon River to the English River . The maximum water depth is 73 m, the mean depth is 20 m.

Sydney Lake is visited by fishing tourists who arrive by seaplane.
