society

Schneider attended South Brunswick High School in South Brunswick and studied exercise science at the University of North Carolina , for whose sports team, the Seahawks , she plays.

National team

Since Schneider's mother is from Jamaica, she received the offer to play for Jamaica in 2015. At first she declined because she didn't see herself as good enough for it and wanted to concentrate on school. A year later she decided to want to play for Jamaica.

With several strong saves she made a significant contribution to the 1-0 victory in the preliminary round of the CONCACAF Women's Gold Cup 2018 over Costa Rica and was thus named the best player of the game. With third place in this tournament, Jamaica qualified for the first time for the 2019 Women's World Cup in France.

Schneider saved a penalty from Andressa Alves in their 3-0 defeat in the opening match against Brazil .
