Sydowia is an English-language specialist journal for mycology published by the University of Vienna .

The magazine was founded in 1903 as Annales Mycoligici by Hans Sydow . After his death in 1946, she took on his honorary name. It was then edited by Franz Petrak from 1947 to 1973 , by Egon Horak until 1989 , by Orlando Petrini until 1996 and by Liliane Petrini until 2004 . Sydowia is currently being edited by an editorial board made up of Egon Horak, Kevin D. Hyde , Omoanghe Isikhuemhen , Orlando Petrini, Jack D. Rogers and Keith Seifert .
