Sylvain Rodier (born June 27, 1977 in Val-Bélair , Québec ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Caron & Guay de Trois-Rivières in the Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey since 2010 .

Career

Sylvain Rodier began his career as a hockey player with the Cataractes de Shawinigan , for which he was active from 1994 to 1998 in the Canadian junior league QMJHL . The center then attended the University of Moncton for four years , for whose team he played in the Canadian Interuniversity Sport . From 2002 to 2004, the left shooter went to Caron & Guay de Pont-Rouge in the Québec Semi-Pro Hockey League . After their full professionalization and renaming to Ligue Nord-Américaine de Hockey, he was on the ice for the Caron & Guay de Trois-Rivières for five years . There he holds 276 points, including 110 goals and 166 assists in 220 games, four team records.

For the 2009/10 season Rodier moved to France, where he received a contract with HC Amiens Somme from Ligue Magnus . For this he scored seven goals in 18 games and prepared 18 goals. Rodier then returned to his homeland and signed another contract with Caron & Guay de Trois-Rivières.
