New Year David
Sylvester David OMI (born August 15, 1953 in Durban , South Africa ) is a South African religious and appointed Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Cape Town .
Life
Sylvester David joined the Order of the Oblates of the Immaculate Virgin Mary on January 4, 1984 and made perpetual profession on February 15, 1988 . He received on 8 February 1991, the sacrament of Holy Orders .
On 6 June 2019 it appointed Pope Francis to the titular bishop of Gunugus and auxiliary bishop in Cape Town.
