Sylvia Deloy

Sylvia Deloy (* 1967 ) is a German writer and screenwriter .

Life

Sylvia Deloy comes from Lower Saxony and studied communication science , German and marketing . She worked as an editor and writer for television shows and wrote screenplays and scripts for comedy series, including The Gilmore Girls and My Life and Me . In 1999 she and a co-author were awarded second prize in the Sat.1 script competition. In 2008, she contributed to the series of novels McLeod's Daughters (as a supplement to the television series of the same name ) the episode Hidden Emotions .

Her first romance novel for young people, stars, stress and kiss alarms was published by Rowohlt in 2011 . At the beginning of 2020 she published her second novel in this genre under the title Das Glück is within grasp at Bastei Lübbe .

Sylvia Deloy is married, has two children and lives with her family in Cologne.
