Sylvia Karres
Sylvia Karres (born November 8, 1976 in Leiderdorp ) is a Dutch hockey player who worked as a striker for the Amsterdamsche Hockey & Bandy Club in the Hoofdklasse . Furthermore, she is currently in the squad of the Dutch national hockey team with which she won the silver medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. In addition, Karres was able to win the title with the Dutch team at the 2006 Women's Field Hockey World Championship in Madrid and was also named the tournament's most successful goalscorer.
