Sylvia Natterer

Sylvia Natterer (* 1949 in Oberstdorf ) is a Swiss doll maker .

Life

Sylvia Natterer dolls

Born in Oberstdorf and raised in Switzerland, she studied in Montreux and Lausanne until 1970 . From 1970 to 1975 she was an art teacher in Lausanne. In 1972 she started making her first dolls. She then moved to Munich to work as a doll maker there until 1991. Since 1991 she has lived and worked in Vils (Ausserfern) . Your dolls are made of vinyl , wood , paper mache and porcelain . In addition to the production of individual pieces , the play dolls she designed were manufactured under the names "Minouche" and "Fanouche" by the companies Zapf, Götz , White Ballon, Zwergnase, Käthe Kruse and Petitcollin .
