Sylvia Ruegger (born February 23, 1961 in Oshawa ) is a former Canadian long-distance runner .
In the 1984 Olympic Games marathon in Los Angeles , she finished eighth with 2:29:09 hours. In total, she won three marathons: 1984 the National Capital Marathon with 2:30:37 h, 1985 the Houston Marathon with 2:28:36 h and 1987 the Pittsburgh Marathon with 2:31:53 h.
