Sylvia Zacharias

Sylvia Zacharias (* 1944 in Binz ) is a German journalist .

Zacharias received her doctorate in political science in 1986 and then worked as a medical reporter. She wrote non-fiction books, including about synagogue communities that had disappeared in Germany, as well as a biography about her father , which gave the impetus for a German Alzheimer's policy. Today she writes for the cultural departments of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and Die Welt .
