Sylwia Chutnik (* 1979 in Warsaw ) is a Polish writer and publicist .

Life

Chutnik studied cultural studies and gender studies in Warsaw. After having a child in 2002, in 2006 she was one of the founders of the Fundacja MaMa foundation , which, from a feminist perspective, campaigns for the rights of mothers in Poland. She received the " Ashoka Online Nobel" in 2009 .

Chutnik's novel Weibskram was awarded the Paszport Polityki in 2008 and was nominated for the Polish literary prize Nike in 2009 .
