Synagogue (Nové Zámky)
The synagogue in Nové Zámky , a Slovak town in the Okres Nové Zámky of the same name , was built in the 1860s. The synagogue at Česká bašta ul. 5 is a protected cultural monument .
The historicism- style synagogue building was not damaged during World War II . The arched facade is structured by pilasters . The tablets of the law are on the top of the gable on the entrance side .
Today the Jewish community in Nové Zámky has around 50 members.
