Chisa Ōbayashi ( Japanese 大林 千 沙 , Ōbayashi Chisa ; * December 27, 1984 ) is a Japanese cross-country skier .

Career

Ōbayashi has been competing in the Continental Cup since 2001 . She has won ten times in the Far East Cup and won the overall standings in the 2008/09 season . In 2007/08 , 2012/13 , 2013/14 and 2015/16 she reached second place in the overall ranking. In 2013 , she won the overall ranking in the Australia / New Zealand Cup .

At the Junior World Championships in 2002 in Schonach in the Black Forest , she was 31st in the mass start race over 15 kilometers, 41st in the freestyle race over five kilometers and 65th in the sprint. Two years later, she took part in the Junior World Championships again in Stryn, Norway , and was 24th in the freestyle race over five kilometers, 25th in the mass start race over 15 kilometers, 62nd in the sprint and ninth in the Japanese cross-country relay. She ran her first of 17 World Cup races so far in December 2004 in Ramsau am Dachstein , finishing 48th in the 15 km mass start race. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oberstdorf in 2005 , she came 52nd in the 10 km freestyle, 48th place in the 30 km mass start race and 47th place in the 15 km skiathlon . Her best individual result in the World Cup was achieved in January 2005 in Pragelato and in March 2006 in Sapporo with 37th place in the skiathlon. In the ski marathon races she took third place at the Kangaroo Hoppet in August 2013 and won the Merino pattern in August 2015 . In February 2017 she got her first World Cup points in Pyeongchang with the 18th place in the skiathlon and won the gold medal with the relay at the Winter Asian Games 2017 in Sapporo.
