The synagogue in Ágreda , a Spanish municipality in the province of Soria in the autonomous community of Castile-León , is a Romanesque sacred building that was used as a synagogue . The building is located on Calle de Vicente, in the former Jewish quarter .

history

According to a document, after the expulsion of the Spanish Jews in 1492 (see Alhambra Edict ), the synagogue of the Jewish community Ágreda was transferred from the Catholic kings to the political community.

The building, consecrated as a Roman Catholic Church, consists of a nave and a semicircular apse .
