It is located in the historic Quedlinburg old town, north of the city's market square. The building registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register is located on the north side of the Marktkirchhof and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . Its southern facade faces the Marktkirchhof, the northern one faces the Kornmarkt. Goetzsche Mausoleum , which is also listed, is adjacent to the west and Marktkirchhof 14 to the east .
Architecture and history
The three-storey half - timbered house was built in the 17th century. Its half-timbered structure has overlapping and corner struts, the compartments on the first floor are provided with variously designed decorative brickwork.
