Marktkirchhof 17 (Quedlinburg)
The house Marktkirchhof 17 is a Grade II listed building in the town of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It is located in the historic Quedlinburg old town, north of the city's market square. The building, registered as a residential building in the Quedlinburg monument register, is on the north side of the Marktkirchhof and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . Its southern facade faces the Marktkirchhof, the northern one faces the Kornmarkt. To the west is the also listed building Marktkirchhof 16 , to the east is the house Marktkirchhof 18 .
Architecture and history
The three-storey half - timbered house was built in the 17th and 18th centuries, other information indicates the time around 1760, and its appearance has largely been preserved in its original form. There is a dwelling house above the north facade . Plaster applied to the facade simulates a solid construction. Paintings from the Baroque period were found on the plaster . The design of the parapet areas on the north side is remarkable. A shop was subsequently added on the north side in the style of historicism . In the south facade there is a baroque door with a curved skylight .
