Post of the enclosure with a memorial plaque

The synagogue in Trutnov (German Trautenau ), a Czech city in northeastern Bohemia , was built from 1882 to 1885. The synagogue was on Rinnelgasse.

The synagogue was built according to the plans of the Trautenau city architect Konrad Kühn. It offered space for around 170 men and 120 women. The building was built in the neo-renaissance style with neo-Romanesque architectural elements.

During the November pogroms on November 9, 1938, Sudeten German SA members burned down the synagogue building.

At the location of the synagogue a plaque commemorates the Jewish place of worship.
