The Synpiggen ( Norwegian for viewing summits is) a 1722 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is the highest point in the southern part of the Austkampane in the center of Sør Rondane .
Scientists from the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1973.
