Sysavath Thammavongchit (born February 25, 1991 ) is a Laotian athlete who specializes in long-distance running and obstacle course .

Athletic career

International experience gained Sysavath Thammavongchit in 2009, when he in the Southeast Asia Games in Vientiane in 10: 13.11 minutes took fourth place in the obstacle course. Two years later he reached tenth place at the Southeast Asian Games in Palembang in 9: 50.69 minutes. In 2015 he finished eighth in the 10,000 meter run at the Southeast Asian Games in Singapore in 33: 02.86 minutes and in the obstacle course he also came in eighth with a new national record of 9: 37.41 minutes. 2017 he was in the South East Asia Games in Kuala Lumpur in 15: 27,06 min seventh in the 5000-meter race and two years later he reached for the Southeast Asia Games in Capas in 15: 51,07 min eighth over this distance.
