Offenders, Helpers, Free Riders is a series of books published by Wolfgang Proske between 2010 and 2019 . As of 2014, the volumes were published in the "Kugelberg Verlag - Verlag für Historische Sozialforschung", which he founded. The series is part of the Anne Frank Shoah Library .

Each of the ten volumes has a regional focus and contains between 20 and 25 biographies in the field of Nazi research . The 211 biographies contained deal with people who came from the area of ​​today's Baden-Württemberg and neighboring areas or who were active there during the Third Reich . The subjects portrayed were selected on the basis of a three-part classification scheme developed by Proske, a so-called NS exposure scale . Each volume is provided with a list of abbreviations, a list of images, a list of authors, a register of persons and a register of places. An additional complete register was published in summer 2019. 128 authors were involved in the project.

The publisher of this book series, Proske, was awarded the first Rahel Straus Prize for sustainable projects of remembrance culture in Baden-Württemberg in October 2019 , which is awarded by the state working group of the nationwide association Against Forgetting - For Democracy .
