The Tête de Ferret is 2713 m above sea level. M. high and lies east of the Mont Blanc massif on the border between the canton of Valais in Switzerland and the Aosta valley in Italy . It separates the Italian Val Ferret in the west and the Swiss Val Ferret in the east.
The Petit Col Ferret runs north of the Tête de Ferret and the Grand Col Ferret to the south .
