Daughters of the American Revolution

The Daughters of the American Revolution (abbreviated DAR , German "Daughters of the American Revolution") are a patriotic women's association in the United States .

The organization aims to preserve the legacy of the American Revolution of 1776 and aims to foster the memory of the past and promote education and patriotism . For this purpose, it also awards grants and awards.

Their motto is "God, Home, and Country." ("God, home and fatherland.")

The Daughters of the American Revolution are represented in all US states as well as in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Mexico and the United Kingdom.
