Tönnies Evers the Elder
Tönnies Evers the Elder (* before 1540, † after 1580) was a well-known Renaissance carver in Lübeck .
He is documented as master of the Lübeck carpenter's office for the period from 1556 to 1580 and was the father of Tönnies Evers the Elder. J. His paneling in the council chamber of the Lübeck town hall is no longer preserved except for the double-leaf renaissance door of the audience hall .
