Türk Ajansı Kıbrıs
Türk Ajansı Kıbrıs (TAK, German : Turkish News Agency Cyprus ) is a news agency in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus . It was founded on December 21, 1973 and has the task of delivering news from the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus abroad and of preparing foreign news for the country. For this purpose, TAK sends messages to the agencies Reuters , AP , Agence France-Presse and IRNA and in return receives messages from the former agency.
Within the Turkish-speaking area, TAK serves media such as the press, TV channels and radio stations domestically, and in Turkey the Anadolu Ajansı news agency and the TRT broadcasting company .
