Turkish brigade of revenge

The Turkish Revenge Brigade ( Turkish: Türk İntikam Tugayı , TİT ) is a paramilitary ultra-nationalist organization in Turkey. She repeatedly assumed responsibility for attacks on Kurdish civilians, political murders and death threats. The organization is suspected of being part of the so-called deep state . Nothing is known about the structure of the organization.

In 1996 it was reported that supporters of the Turkish Revenge Brigade were involved in the murder of the Turkish Cypriot journalist Kutlu Adalı.

The TİT took responsibility for the armed attack in 1998 on the then President of the Turkish Human Rights Association , Akın Birdal , in which he was seriously injured. The perpetrator was one of the TİT leaders Mehmet Cemal Kulaksızoğlu, who received a diplomatic passport from the officer of the Turkish National Intelligence Service , Yavuz Ataç.

According to a statement by the Turkish Human Rights Association, the murders of Mehmet Sincar and journalist Ferhat Tepe were committed by TIT supporters in 1993. Later it was found that Mehmet Sincar by Hizbullah was killed, who had set a goal Nizamettin Toğuç, former SHP -Abgeordneten from Batman to murder.

In 2005 Eren Keskin received a death threat from TİT. On May 30, 2008, Baskın Oran received a death threat by email from the Turkish Revenge Brigade.
