The Tüteberg on the edge of the Westensee Nature Park near Kiel is at 88.3 meters the fifth highest point in the Rendsburg-Eckernförde district and is the nineteenth highest mountain in Schleswig-Holstein . The Tüteberg is located in the municipality of Westensee , its highest point is forested and not accessible. A hiking trail leads over the second peak of the Tüteberg. From here you can see the lake landscape of the Westensee Nature Park as far as Kiel, the Hüttener Mountains and Laboe . The good view is due to the Westensee , which is almost at sea level .

According to legend, the elevation called Teuteberg in old writings was a pagan place of worship .
