Tōkai Carbon KK ( Japanese 東海 カ ー ボ ン 株式会社 , Tōkai Kābon Kabushiki kaisha , English Tokai Carbon Co., Ltd. ) is a Japanese graphite and carbon black manufacturer . In 2013, Tokai Carbon generated 45% of its sales with carbon black , 29% with graphite electrodes and 12.5% with fine graphite.
In 2005 the German Erftcarbon (VAW) and in 2019 the Polish Cobex were taken over.
