Tōru Hasegawa ( Japanese 長谷川 徹 , Hasegawa Tōru ; born December 11, 1988 in Seto , Aichi Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Tōru Hasegawa learned to play football in the youth team of Nagoya Grampus . Here he signed his first contract in 2007. The club from Nagoya , a port city in Aichi Prefecture on Honshū , played in the country's highest league, the J1 League . In 2009 he was with the club in the final of the Emperor's Cup . The final was lost 4-1 to Gamba Osaka . In 2010 he was with the club of Japanese football champions. In 2011 he was loaned to the second division side Tokushima Vortis to Tokushima . After the loan, he was signed by Tokushima in early 2012. In 2013 he finished third with the club in the J2 League and rose to the first division. After just one year, the club had to relegate back to the second division at the end of 2014.
