Tōru Miyamoto ( Japanese 宮本 亨 Miyamoto Tōru ; born December 3, 1982 in Yamaguchi Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Miyamoto learned to play soccer on the school team at Shimonoseki Chuo Technical High School . He signed his first contract with Avispa Fukuoka in 2001 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . At the end of the 2001 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . In 2005 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League. At the end of the 2006 season, the club rose again from the J2 League. For the club he completed 177 league games. In 2009 he moved to league rivals Tochigi SC . For the club he completed 26 league games. In 2011 he moved to league rivals Giravanz Kitakyushu . For the club he completed 125 league games. At the end of 2015, he ended his career as a football player.
